The Great Northern Classics Training Hub

The GNC Training Hub

At the heart of our premises, and at the core of all we stand for is the enhancement and transfer of the skills necessary to protect our classic vehicle heritage for the future.

Our dedicated training school will be a hub for the next generation to learn and develop skills to prolong the life of important trades, supporting the heritage and classic vehicle sector.

Training

Our programme aims to retain skills and transfer them on to the next generation, extending both expertise and the longevity of historic vehicles.
The training Hub will consist of a multiple-bay training school complete with body shop, equipment, tools and a teaching breakout area with qualified practitioners. This facility encourages the transfer of skills via a blend of theory and practice . We plan to start training in 2024.

Education for Enthusiasts

Great Northern Classics network of specialists allows us to host informal workshops for classic vehicle enthusiasts with time-based access to workshop equipment. If you feel you have skills and wish to be involved in this journey, we are here and would love to hear from you contact us.

Apprenticeships

Longer term our plan will be to offer a range of apprenticeships via the Training Hub supported by a recognised Training Provider and delivered via local qualified practitioners. We would expect anyone with an interest in working with GNC to buy into this philosophy.
